Performance/Competitive Classes Will Resume in January 2011!
Please join our children's social dance class in the interim!
For the
student who desires to be challenged.......
to be held to a higher standard.......
to realize the rewards of their efforts.......
The
Art of Dance now offers "Competitive Dance Classes"
Students who participate
in the Competitive Dance Class program will have the opportunity to focus on the proper styling and techniques of
all of the competitive Ballroom and Latin dances.
In addition to twice weekly classes, private lessons are recommended,
but not required for students desiring to be competitive dancers.
The semester will culminate in May with
a full costume recital and students will have the opportunity to share what they have learned with their friends and families.
Various competition opportunities will also be provided. Our goal is to create a competitive dance team that will participate
in local contests.
